The Eren’s Picks section on the Film Annex homepage brings together some of the most talented and active filmmakers on our platform, providing maximum visibility and exposure to their work. Some of the filmmakers have been with us for years; others have recently joined.
The filmmakers on Eren’s Picks are selected based on the quality of their films and their ability to promote them using the Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ buttons on Film Annex.
The filmmakers appear in Eren’s Picks in order of their BuzzScores from highest to lowest. The more active a filmmaker is uploading content, blogging, and social media sharing, the higher their BuzzScore will be and the more money they will make on Film Annex.
Eren’s Picks is an ever-evolving list, and there is always room for new talent. Currently, the list displays the top 15 filmmakers on Film Annex, and we are excited to present new filmmakers to our audience.
Have you noticed the Eren’s Picks list on the homepage? You’re wondering what it is? Here’s your answer…

Anderson West joined the Film Annex platform less than 2 years ago with First Day, a very promising short film that made us want to know more about him. Through his other movies and blogs, we discovered a passionate filmmaker who hopes one day to dream for a living. We chose his Web TV to be featured in June 2012 and it generated almost $9,000 in one week.
Lisa Stock, who joined us two years ago, is one of the most active filmmakers on our platform. She regularly sends us new movies and blogs about her projects. She just released Triptych Heart and two trailers for her upcoming projects. Her Web TV, featured in January 2012, has generated so far more than $6,000. We asked her a few questions about her work and how she promotes it, what being part of the Film Annex’s community means for her, and how she used her earnings.
Lately, we’ve been publishing stories about some of our filmmakers who have been featured on our homepage and ended up generating substantial revenues. The Web TV channel of Mark Kuczewski, a London-based filmmaker, generated $16,000 within a week. San Francisco-based stop-motion animator Kevin Parry's channel made $10,000.
The Film Annex success stories are really the success of these filmmakers, their dedication, their social media skills, and the buzz they create around their work.
Here’s the other filmmakers’ interviews:
